“Paris seen by Hollywood” : the exhibition to visit before it’s too late !

Paris + Hollywood in the same sentence: we go immediately! After a queue which finally is not so long in front of the Mairie de Paris (Saturday morning 9:30, 30 minutes before the official opening), after having blocked everybody because of a hairgrip which made troubles at the security checkpoint, here we are, finally !

The exhibition takes place in a room, little at the first sight. But the Salle Saint-Jean, arranged in this way, mixing pictures, paintings, sketchs, costums, scripts… takes two hours at least to visit ! And you have to count the time spent in front of the giant screen which presents the Hollywoodian Paris of the Belle Epoque, this when the movie crews didn’t go to Paris, but when Paris came to them, in the studios of Universal and Paramount. Gene Kelly, Fred Astair, Audrey Hepburn, Marlène Dietrich… All the biggest ones are there, those who made Paris as a Hollywoodian city par excellence !

Paris burst, Paris enlights, Paris sings… a true moment of curiosity and delightful, for the lovers of cinema and Paris !
